It is 3 hours drive North of Durban & easy driving. The Lodge has 8 rooms that can accommodate up to 20 guests, offering guests privacy & intimacy during their stay at Makakatana.. Makakatana Bay Lodge is the only privately owned Lodge situated within the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park, World Heritage site. The Lodge has 5 Standard rooms, 1 Honeymoon Suite and 2 Family rooms (can take 4 people each). Sleeping maximum 20 people in the Lodge. The rooms are set privately in the Dune Forests on the banks of the Lake.
